Model Workout 21: Torso Twist



Step 1: Begin standing with your feet and one weight in your right hand.

Step 2: Step right foot back into a lunge.

Step 3: Place your left hand, palm up, in front of your midline at chest height.

Step 4: Place your right hand behind you, palm down. Inhale to begin.

Step 5: As you exhale exchange your arms, pressing the weight forward to the middle postiion.

Step 6: This is a transverse movement. Feel your torse twist.

Step 7: Add dips to your lunge as you exhale. Now we have a balance component. Repeat 12 times each side.
